Falsification, or failure to keep records or reports.
(a) Section
17(g) of the Act provides that ``Whoever knowingly makes any false statement,
representation, or certification in any application, record, report, plan
or other document filed or required to be maintained pursuant to this
Act shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine of not more than $10,000,
or by imprisonment, for not more than 6 months or both.''
(b) Failure
to maintain records or file reports required by this part, or in the details
required by forms and instructions issued under this part, may result
in the issuance of citations and assessment of penalties as provided for
in sections 9, 10, and 17 of the Act.
