Programs
are available in four basic plans. These programs can be packaged
to meet any specific requirement. The programs can also be set up
on various time frames for easy budgeting of your maintenance dollars.
Plumb
& Tension
Tower's vertical alignment is set and guy wires tensioned to manufacturers
specifications. This service is a basic tower maintenance procedure
to ensure proper operation and compliance with EIA TIA 222-F specifications.
Tower
Re-Guying
Preferred Tank & Tower
offers complete re-guying of all types of towers. Older towers with
corroded or pitted guy wires can usually be repaired for a fraction
of the cost of a complete tower replacement. All materials used
are in complicance with applicable EIA TIA 222-F, AISC and ANSI
standards for quality.
Guy
Wire Greasing and Coating
This service
is provided to prolong the life of galvanized EHS guy wires by coating
or pressure injecting the wires with a rust inhibitive coating.
Special coatings are available such as Ice Phobic, which hardens
and prevents icing on guy wires.
Painting
Keeping your
tower in compliance with current FCC and FAA rules and regulations
for day-marking is very important. All galvanized towers receive
one top coat of industrial acrylic enamel #12197 organge and #17845
white paint mixed to comply with current Federal Specification on
595-A. Preferred Tank & Tower offers Poly-Urethane, Epoxy Mastic and Keeler
& Long 4404 for custom paint applications.
Structural
Analysis
Preferred Tank & Tower
engineers are registered in more than 35 states. Our engineers have
experience performing engineering on lattice type, self-supporting
or guyed, steel towers and monopoles. Preferred Tank & Tower can handle
modification to an HDTV installation.

points, anchor replacement, periodic inspection and re-lamping,
antennae and line work, earthquake modifications and 24 hour emergency

Erection
Preferred Tank & Tower
offers complete turnkey tower installations. We not only erect new
and pre-owned towers for the cellular and wireless market but for
broadcast, CATV and microwave applications as well. Professional
Engineering services are readily available to handle foundation
and structural issues.
Antenna
and Line Installations
We offer complete
antennae and line installation services. Our capabilities include
installation of panel, omni-directional, high performance dishes,
FM, yagis, HDTV and detuning skirts. Preferred Tank & Tower can install
any type of line that these antennaes require. Line Sweeping services
are also available.
Tower
Lighting
Preferred Tank & Tower
offers installation and maintenance of standard red obstruction
tower lighting systems, medium intensity strobe systems, high intensity
strobe systems and the popular medium intensity dual system. Preferred Tank & Tower will always keep a vigilant eye on any FAA/FCC updates that
affect your compliance with these codes.
Inspection
Towers are visually
inspected for compliance with applicable EIA, TIA, OSHA, and FAA/FCC
requirements. The owner is furnished a written report and color
photographs of unsatisfactory conditions with any minor corrections
made at the time of inspection. Preferred Tank & Tower inspection crews
carry state of the art equipment including laser range finders,
used to determine precise AGL measurements and center of radiation
levels, transits and dynometers.
Ultrasonic
Inspection
Tubular legged
towers can be inspected for interior corrosion using ultrasonic
thinkness test equipment. This service can be used to provide data
for our engineer's analysis of the tower's interior condition. This
procedure can reveal deficiencies that would not be found by a visual
inspection.

Re-Lamping
Periodic re-lamping
and inspection of lighting systems insure trouble-free operations
and avoids costly fines.
